Strangely enough, Blue Barnhouse came out of a love of literature
and magazine production. Wanting to steer away from the standard
mass-produced fare so common to the publishing industry, we joined
the bookbinding and letterpress community at the San Francisco
Center for the Book and learned the beauty of doing things the
old fashioned way. Our handbound magazine, Em Literary, was met
with rabid enthusiasm by the literary underground, and the rest,
as they say, is history.
Our letterpress studio and stationery store is now located in
the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. We are very pleased
to be here.

Shipping Information:
Orders are shipped via USPS and take up to 2-3 weeks to arrive.
Fed-ex overnight delivery is available. Overnight orders must be
received by Noon EST M-TH to arrive next day, or the order may not be
shipped until the following business day. Please email us for further details.
International shipping is available but will be added to the order after
charges are determined (we let you know in advance). Due to instances where
packages were lost in customs, we will now only send trackable packages.
If you would like your package via airmail to fray the costs, we can do it,
but the package will be shipped at your own risk, as we cannot resend or refund
if it becomes lost without tracking.
Customer will be notified if any items are on back-order, which can cause up to a 10 day delay.
Substitutions or refunds will be made for backordered items if you just can't wait.
Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:
We pride ourselves in a quality product. If the order you receive does not meet your satisfaction,
please send the order back in the package you received-- we will refund you for the full amount
minus shipping costs. We will replace any product at no charge if it comes to you damaged.
